Privacy Policy

We collect less than most companies our size, and we'd rather explain it in plain English than hide it in nine hundred words.

Pakistan doesn't yet have a comprehensive data protection law. We hold ourselves to the standard we meet for our UK customers anyway, because running two different standards of respect would be strange.

What we collect

When you order: your name, phone number, delivery address, email, and what you bought.

When you pay: nothing at all. Every order is cash on delivery, so no card or wallet details ever reach us. There's nothing to lose because there's nothing held.

When we refund you: your bank details, at that point only. Used once for the transfer, then deleted. Never requested at checkout, never kept on file.

When you browse: rough location, device type, and which pages you looked at. This is how we notice our size guide is broken on a particular phone.

When you sign up for emails: just your email address.

Why we have it

To get your order to your door. We can't send a hoodie to someone whose address we don't hold.

To answer you when you message us.

To tell you when we release something, but only if you asked.

To spot fraudulent orders, and to keep the records tax law requires.

Who else sees it

Only the people who have to:

Our store platform, which runs the site and checkout
PostEx, who deliver your order and collect payment at the door. They need your name, address, phone number and the amount owed.
Our email platform, which sends order confirmations and release announcements

That's the list. We don't sell your data. We've never sold it. There's no version of this business where selling it makes sense.

Cash on delivery

PostEx collects the cash on our behalf and passes it to us. They see what you ordered and what it cost, because they have to take the right amount at the door.

Since COD is our only payment method, there's no way to order without that information being passed on.

Phone numbers

We use your number for delivery only. PostEx will call before arriving — that's them, not us.

We don't send marketing SMS or WhatsApp messages. We don't sign you up to anything. If you get a promotional message claiming to be Original Creator, it isn't us, and we'd like to see it.

If that ever changes, you'll be asked first. Not opted in by default.

How long we keep it

Order records: six years. Not our choice — tax law requires it.

Bank details for refunds: deleted once the transfer clears.

Email subscribers: until you unsubscribe. One click, no exit survey.

Analytics: held by our store platform, never linked to your name. We don't run Google Analytics or any advertising tracker, so there's no second copy sitting with someone else.

Messages you've sent us: two years, so we have context if you come back with a problem.

What you can ask us to do

Ask for a copy of everything we hold on you. Correct it if it's wrong. Delete it. Object to how we're using it. Withdraw consent for emails whenever you like.

Message us and we'll do it within 30 days, usually the same week. We won't ask why. There's no form.

One limit, stated plainly: we can't delete an order record inside the six-year window, because the law requiring it beats the request. Everything else, we can and will.

Marketing

We email about four times a year, which is roughly how often we release something.

You're only on that list if you put yourself on it. Buying a hoodie isn't consent to be marketed to. Unsubscribe is at the bottom of every email and works immediately.

Age

You need to be 18 to order, or to have a parent or guardian ordering for you.

If you're under 13, don't send us your details at all. If you already have, tell us and we'll delete them the same day. No questions, nobody else involved.

Security

The site runs over an encrypted connection.

The most sensitive thing most shops hold is payment information. We hold none — every order is cash on delivery. That removes the risk rather than managing it.

What we do hold is your name, address, phone number and order history. Access is limited to the people who pack the parcels and answer your messages.

We won't claim we're unbreachable. Nobody honest does. If something happens that affects you, you'll hear it from us directly and quickly, not in a quiet policy update.

When this changes

We'll update the date below. If a change affects you, you'll get an email, not a silent edit.

Getting hold of us

pkorders@theoriginalcreator.com. One of us reads it. If we handle something badly, tell us and we'll fix it rather than quote a policy at you.
